Not so long ago, I posted about kundalini yoga’s suggested foods to support women. Well, keeping the balance even, here’s a list of suggested foods to restore, support and heal men.
Must-have foods for men
Pistachios and saffron improve vigour and health.
Saffron also keeps wrinkles, hair loss and senility at bay.
Peaches, plums, pineapples, pears, papaya and persimmon (handily known as the P fruits) keep the male system in check.
Male potency boosters
Ghee, garlic and onions help semen production.
Figs ease sexual and nervous disorders.
Banyan tree milk (pretty impossible to get hold of unless you’re lucky enough to have a Banyan growing nearby) corrects sexual imbalances and apparently helps the creation of healthy semen.
Nutmeg lowers blood pressure and is helpful in healing impotency and premature ejaculation.

This creamy and stimulating drink is nourishing to the nervous system and the male sexual organs. Drink it immediately after having intercourse.
12 ounces of milk
1-3 inches of fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1/4 cup of ground sesame seeds
2 tsp of maple syrup or honey
Blend until frothy in a food processor or blender. To serve warm, add a tablespoon of ghee, heat gently, and enjoy. A simpler version is to put a tablespoon of raw sesame oil (not toasted!) in some warm milk and enjoy.
